4 teaspoons finely sliced fresh chives
1 teaspoon minced fresh tarragon leaves

Directions
In a medium bowl, lightly toss the crabmeat, celery, chives, and tarragon together.

In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and mustard. Add the dressing to the crabmeat mixture and stir until just coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If not using right away refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serve on toasted rolls or on a bed of lettuce.

Whether you’re using Maryland blue, West Coast Dungeness, or Florida stone in your crab salad, the sweetness of the crabmeat enjoys a little savory embellishment. Get fancy with your salad and go the route of a tuna melt, or take a lighter approach and serve this atop salad greens.

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces lump crabmeat, picked over for shells
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons minced fresh chives
2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until combined.

Looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe? We’ve got you covered today! We are sharing one of our favorite weeknight meals-Taco Salad with Homemade Tortilla Bowls.

Taco salad has always been one of my favorite meals, I could eat it every night. Josh gets a little bored with taco salad though. I think it’s the salad thing. He never complains, but I can tell he isn’t thrilled when I say taco salad is on the dinner menu:) If I tell him we are having Taco Salad with Homemade Tortilla Bowls, he gets excited. It’s amazing what a simple Homemade Tortilla Bowl can do! These bowls are magic!
So how do you make these fancy schmancy bowls? It’s really easy, I promise. All you need are burrito sized flour tortillas, cooking spray, and oven safe bowls. Place the tortillas in greased oven safe bowls and bake them until crispy! They will only take about 15 minutes to crisp up.
And if you want to make the tortilla bowls extra special, you can add a little cheese! Sprinkle shredded cheese in the center of the bowls a few minutes before the bowls are done baking. The cheese gets nice and melted. No wonder Josh loves these bowls so much. Look at that cheesy goodness!
We fill our tortilla bowls with our favorite taco salad fixins’! Our favorites include: lettuce, black beans, tomato, green onion, cilantro, shredded cheese, and avocado. I also like to add a big dollop of Creamy Avocado Dip for the dressing. Go wild and add your favorite taco salad toppings. We always go the vegetarian route, but you can add chicken, beef, or pork!
Jazz up taco salad night by making Homemade Tortilla Bowls! They are fun to make and fun to eat! And the best part, you don’t have to do any dishes. You eat your bowl so clean up is a breeze!

Go bowl crazy and and make Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Ice Cream Bowls for dessert! Gotta love these edible bowls!

Ingredients
4 scallions
½ cucumber
1 handful fresh basil leaves
½ head Boston lettuce, or small red leaf lettuce
½ heart romaine
½ cup sprouted cress or alfafa
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon or English mustard
⅛ teaspoon sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
½ cup chopped toasted walnuts, or your favourite nuts
Method
Chopped salads are incredibly simple to make, you have to give them a go. If nothing else, they can offer you some chopping practice, so why not make something tasty while you're practicing your knife skills? Anyone can make these salads, just make sure you use a good, sharp chef's knife and your biggest chopping board – and watch your fingers!

Get yourself a big chopping board and a large sharp knife. It's best to start by chopping the harder, crunchier veggies first, so trim and chop your scallions and slice your cucumber. Slice your basil. Bring it all into the centre of the board, and continue chopping and mixing together.

Add the lettuce leaves, and cress or alfalfa to the board. When everything is well chopped, you'll have a big mound of salad on the board.

Make a well in the middle and drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. Add the mustard and the salt and pepper. Sprinkle with nuts. Mix up so everything gets well coated and serve on the board or in a bowl.

Serving suggestions:
This makes a nice addition to any main dish such as Barbecued chicken, Spaghetti and meatballs or Old-school pork chops with apples.

Jamie's tips:

- What I want to show you here is that the sky's the limit when it comes to the different ingredients you can add to a chopped salad – you can use whatever's available.
- The only rule I would give you is to always include a couple of handfuls of crunchy lettuce to give your salad a really good texture. Try out different things, and don't feel obliged to use the same old stuff all the time. Bell peppers, tomatoes, herb sprigs, a peeled and pitted avocado . . . you can get any or all of these into a chopped salad.
- Basil works well in this salad, but so do lots of other soft fresh herbs, such as chives, chervil, or mint.
- For a bit of extra crunch, simply toast some nuts in a warm pan, but watch them as once they start to go brown they can burn very quickly. Nutritional Information Amount per serving:

Potato Salad Recipe
Prep time: 15 minutesCook time: 30 minutesYield: Serves 4-6.
If you are using Russets and not Yukon Gold potatoes, peel them first, then cut them into 1-inch pieces for cooking. The bacon is entirely optional, feel free to skip it, or experiment with other ingredients. My dad likes adding minced carrots and chopped hard boiled egg to his potato salad.
Save Recipe
Ingredients
2 lbs of Yukon Gold potatoes (you can leave the peel on if you want), cut into 1-inch pieces
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons of mustard (your favorite, yellow, Dijon, stone ground)
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 dill pickles, chopped into 1/4 in cubes (about 3/4 cup)
6 slices of bacon, cooked* and finely chopped
Coarse salt
Freshly ground pepper
*To cook the bacon, heat a frying pan on medium low. Lay out the strips of bacon in a single layer. Gently cook, turning over occasionally with tongs, until lightly browned, and much of the fat rendered out. Place on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess fat. Do not pour any fat from the pan down the drain, it will clog it. Instead, pour it into a jar, or sop up with paper towels and discard.
Method
1 In a large pot, cover potatoes with cold, salted water (1 teaspoon salt). Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork, about 20 minutes. Drain, and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. (If you want, add some pickle juice to the drained, still slightly warm potatoes. The potatoes will absorb some of the juices, making them even tastier!)
2 In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and mustard. Add a little salt and pepper. Add the potatoes and use a rubber spatula to gently combine. Add the rest of the ingredients, again gently combining. (Include a couple tablespoons of the pickle juice for good measure.) Season to taste with salt and pepper.
